Our founder, Allan Claro de Souza, brings a unique blend of corporate expertise, entrepreneurial grit, and athletic discipline — forged through a journey that spans continents, industries, and personal reinvention.
After graduating from one of Brazil’s top law schools in 2015, Allan began his professional path in corporate compliance, holding key roles at multinational firms like HSBC and Grant Thornton, before opening his own law firm. But in 2018, driven by a deeper passion for human development and high performance, he made a bold move — relocating to Canada and eventually leaving his corporate career behind to pursue his true calling in coaching, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
In 2020, at the height of a global pandemic, Allan opened his first Jiu-Jitsu academy with over 60 students pre-enrolled. Since then, he has scaled his business to serve over 300 active members, previously managing two locations that generated over $1 million in revenue. He is now expanding again, preparing to launch a new gym expected to open with close to 100 members — a testament to his strategic approach to business growth, branding, and community building.

Built one of the most successful kids competition teams in the country, with students (Kids and Adults) medaling at global events like Brazilian Nationals, Kids PanAms, Jiu-Jitsu Con, and ADCC Opens — proving that you can build a strong, profitable business without compromising on performance and technical mastery.
